It is with great pleasure that Rapido Trains introduce their first foray into
freight equipment. Transcona, Manitoba is a railway town through and through.
For the last 100 years, the name Transcona has been synonymous with railway
freight operations. It is located in sunny Winnipeg, the geographical heart of
North America. Rapido Trains will bring to Transcona Yard the same attention
to detail that is the hallmark of our Super Continental Line passenger cars.
* Super-detailed underbody including all separate air and brake piping
* Super-detailed Barber-Bettendorf caboose trucks with in-line brake shoes
* Full multi-coloured interior with proper floor texture
* Interior handrails and opening windows in the cupola
* See-through, etched metal end platforms and steps
* Full end detail, including uncoupling levers
* Separate grab irons installed at the factory
* Full interior lighting with all-wheel pickup
* Operating marker lights
* Metal Macdonald-Cartier Knuckle Couplers mounted at correct height
* Numerous paint schemes and road numbers
Order Notice: Rapido Trains manufactures with order
deadlines to dealers and the consumer. When manufacture begins dealers are not
able to order product. We are therefore usually not able to fill orders from
available inventory. There is a history now to confirm that the only way to
order Rapido Trains products is by advance reservation.
Transconia Yard Caboose and Meat Reefer freight cars WILL NOT BE Available after
Rapido Trains Order Deadline has passed. Our inventory will be limited to
advance reservation pre-orders assigned to those customers who pre-order.
