HO Structures
Northeastern Scale Models has been in business since 1946. At their northern
California facility, the most up-to-date laser technology is used to
manufacture Model railroad structure kits. Northeastern products are laser-cut
from milled hardwoods. For over sixty years, Northeastern Scale Models, Inc.
has been providing model building materials for architects, model railroaders,
miniaturists and other hobbyists. Several years ago, Northeastern Scale Models
pioneered the introduction of laser-cut wood kits for model railroaders.
Originally Northeastern Scale Models started in Methuen, MA in 1946 by the
now-deceased James Doyle. In the fall of 2001, they moved the laser-cutting
portion of the business to their new facility in northern California. Their
kits are suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced model makers with
many years of model making behind them.
